We're walking under the glow of the Full Moon this evening my mind wandering aimlessly while catching glimpses of our small dog, Brewster. The moonbeam rays are running from bush to bush. We're holding hands, my hubby and I, keeping me grounded and at the same time making me feel romantic as I look upon this glorious Full Moon. The tiny scattered pieces of glass along the path we stroll glimmer in the moonbeams and diamonds come to mind. Diamonds, the hardest known gemstone of all, brought to the Earth's surface through deep volcanic eruptions. Diamonds, the promise of love. Diamonds, a girl's best friend. Diamonds, the Greeks and the Romans explained diamonds by stories of "tears of the Gods" or by "splinters from falling stars". Cupids' arrows were even said to be tipped with them hence the promise of love. As we reach the end of our path, we stop, gazing upon the white shimmering Full Moon and then we gaze at each other bathed in the cool moonbeams' light. We move closer to one another, we kiss. And so, another Magical Mystical Moment is embedded on my heart. Brewster begins to bark and dances around us and the moment is gone.

Pretty and poetic post. I like it.
